bathroom sealant

My understanding is that sanitary sealant differs only from regular silicone in that it's designed for non-porous surfaces, i.e. sinks, baths and shower trays. Regular silicone is more of a general purpose product and so doesn't grip the non-porous surface as well. I stand to be corrected though.
