The grey bit goes in the White bit above...!
You need to unscrew the White nut bit, tread the nut over the grey pipe, then the plastic washer, then attach the black rubber seal to the grey pipe, cone side up, push it up, Then screw it all together.
That pipe will need clipping /supporting as the weight has pulled it out the socket.
