Bathroom sink waste pipe

I'm fitting a new bathroom and I'm moving the sink 10 inches along the wall. I need to install a new waste pipe so that it is behind the pedestal.

Can anyone advise the best method/tools for drilling through the wall?

(Wall is block cavity)

two ways one is go to a hire shop or buy a core drill if you do this make sure you dont use hammer action on the drill. this method makes a nice clean hole.the second option is to use a normal size masonary drill lets SAY 8mm and drill a series of holes in a circle (stitch drill) then use a cold chisel and hammer out the hole
