Bathroom tap problem

Hi,

This may be a simple problem. I have a small leak coming from my bathroom tap. I have tried tightening the nut where the leak is coming from, however, this has only helped it a little bit and has not completely stopped the leak.

I have taken photos and attached them, although they may not be much help.

Am I right in saying that i need to remove the tap and replace the rubber seal? If so, what size would i need and where can I buy it?

If not, what can I do?

Thanks for your help.

You just need to undo the nut and replace the washer, best to take the old one into a merchants at a guess it will be about 3/4" but there are all sorts of variations, they are usually the thicker grey ones or rubber rather than the thinner red ones.

Footprints, just wanted to let you know that you were spot on with the washers. The washer in the hot tap was almost completely worn. Have replaced now, and no more dripping thankfuly. Thanks again!
