Bathroom Ventilation

Hi there.

I was up in my loft and discovered that both my bathroom extraction fans ventilate directly into the loft space. One of these has been covered by loft insulation. There is no ducting to vent the air outside on eihter of these.

Is this normal? Or should they be vented outside?

Yes, you can use ducting via the wall, roof or soffit vent
