Hi, I've recently taken delivery (but am not yet fitting) a bathstore bathroom suite. We have an semi-inset basin, but it does not come with any fixing brackets or screws etc.

I telephoned the Bathstore to ask if it should have, or how I should fit it. Their advice was to glue it in with silicone.

There is quite a weight on the front lip of the basin - would silicone be enough to secure it or do I somehow need to fix it in place with some screws and brackets?

Thanks for any advice / experience.

Thanks Breezer!

I was hesitant because of the weight of the basin and the thought of kids pulling it off from the countertop.

I guess that sillicone around the rim onto the countertop will be enought then.
