Bathtub mixer shower tap

If anything, try to buy traditional screw down compression type valves - avoid 1/4 turn ceramic types.

Ceramic valve taps seem to have a relatively short lifespan - 2-3 years before the valves start to go in a lot of cases and then it just easier to replace the whole valve. Older types screw down valve washers are really simple to replace, cost pennies and take mins to sort out.
Bit confusing but I think I understand slightly. Would appreciate any recommendations of taps of that calibre.

Not much more for a fancy unit.

Not looking to get one of those have a walk in shower and have exactly one of those inside so just need a standard mixer shower tap for my bath tub
