BATTENING KITCHEN WALL CABINETS

I am about to start installing a new kitchen & need to bring the wall units out by approximately 60mm. I will be screwing battens to the wall so I can attach 4 units to them (each unit is 500mm wide). To provide the best stability for the units, is is best to have a single batten for all 4 units or have separate battens for each unit?

Would put one across top andone across bottom but you'd have to check theres no variation in the wall first
