Baumatic BT9.3GL cooker hood problems

Hi everyone i am unlucky that i have 2 appliances that have packed up in our Kitchen, one i have posted which is a indesit dishwasher

The second one is my 4 year old Baumatic BT9.3GL cooker hood problems

When you press any button either either fan speed 1 or 2 or 3 or the light

What ever button you press the number 2 light flashes once , very strange,

Just wondered if anyone has come across this problem before ?

Unfortunately this unit suffers from a number of faults from the electronic unit to the plastic impeller. We are on our third unit in seven years. We haven't changed because of the tiling that goes around it. If we had a choice we would have changed to another make. Unfortunately its just as cheap to buy a whole new unit than to buy the spares. Its worth keeping the old unit for just that purpose because the chances are something else will go wrong within the next few years!
