hi, i had the above boiler fitted around 10 months ago, and the hot water was realy hot just lately the heat has dropped to hot but not too hot to touch like it was before, i think the fow rate has dropped a bit as well does this sound right ? what temp should the hot water be ? the rads are very hot as they always have been.

you need to measure the flow rate and temp difference between hot and cold.
the weather in london has turned cold last couple of days so it would have an effect if its the same in your area

might be an idea to check the temp diff on theprimaries on the plated

and how the hell did you get away with fitting a non part L compliant boiler ten months ago???????????????????????

What's your beef on that one. Pcb's? Pressure vessels? Diverters?

I expect the flw restrictor is set at 10 litres/min, and you should be getting a little above shower temp water at that rate.

Naw its just I hate changing thier expansion vessels every five minutes ;)

that and they very noisy flowswitches

and i was very grumpy yesterday

:)

Thank god for that, you nearly give me heart attack was thinking i got a roight pile of @@@@ fitted till i read on, boiler seems fine aprt from this little problem which seems to have reset itself when i tunred the preheat back on. out of intrest how do you turn the flow rate up ?
