I have a fault on my boiler HW and Heating is not working properly sometimes the water is hot other times it isnt. same goes for the CH it is flashing on 50? whatever that means. I am a complete novice so havnt a clue please help
not sure if i like your attitude yes i am a novice but not a stupid novice i have had someone look at it and they ringing baxi to find out what the flashing 50 means I just thought someone on this site could help in the meantime and give me helpful advice not sarcastic novice comments sorry if i came to the wrong site for help.
No need to ring baxi.
The flashing 50 light indicates as said a 'fan/flue fault'
I think what should have been said and with the greatest repect if that in order to replace and/or check the component in question requires breaking the combustion case seal and therefore a qualified registered engineer.
You have to appreciate the volume of people who come on here asking for advice and 'novice' has a broad spectrum of competence... some are total novices and some not. Therefore it is only prudent to recommened the safe course of action.
However, the fault mentioned is 90% likely to be the case. Do not be offended
You are a very ignorant person what or who gave you the right to speak to people in the manner that you do!!!!!!!! People like myself come here for helpful advice not to be spoken too and belittled by self righteous persons has yourself. I am not a young kid and will not remain on this site to be dragged down to your level of insolent childish behaviour. My Grandchildren have more manners than you do. Respect costs nothing please try remember that when next replying to a post.
