Hello all, i've been having a good read of the forums to the answer but i cant't seem to find it, the problem is my dhw seems to be struggling to get hot. Even with the temp controller on the Baxi set to full. i've always throttled the water back when running the bath but over the last months i virtually have to shut off the tap to get it up to temp. I live in Cumbria so i don't think the waters a problem (soft/hard) but other comments suggest the heat exchanger could be blocked?
Initially the water is hot, which i would think is from the stored instant water but pretty quickly drops off the central heating is fine also.
It's about 4 years old.

Thanks Neil

If this has gotten worse over the last few months it is almost certainly the DHW heat exchanger. You can remove this yorself and clean it overnight or buy a new one and fit it (both relatively simple jobs)
