Hi all,
I have a Baxi 105e boiler and have just purchases a hive active heating thermostat and a query on the wiring of the thermostat. Currently the 7 day digital clock is used to operate the boiler.
Will the clock remain in the boiler, I imagine yes and the wireless thermostat will control the time programme etc so the clock should be set to be permanently on?
Wiring - I understand that a 5 core wire should be fine, so the live and neutral are fine and and 1 on the (boiler diagram) is on and 2 is off, but what on earth is the common wire and where should this be located?
Many thanks
Aky

The thermostat wiring is on the left and the boiler is on the right.
