Hi guys,

I have a Baxi 105e boiler that is around 5 years old. For some time now I haven't been able to obtain hot water (haven't had the money to fix it until now).

Usual symptons - CH on and minimal hot water.
I've just rechecked to see if the boiler is showing any fault codes and nothing. However, when the hot water tap is used, the 'hot water' status light is not illuminated.

Is it the diverter valve?

Cheers
Scotty

Either diverter valve or the microswitch.

Easy to see if pin protrudes about 9 mm when hot tap is run!

Thanks Tony,

Where do I need to look for this? I'm unfamiliar with the internals of this boiler.
Does the pin relate to the microswitch?

Thanks

its the diaphramon the front of the diverter.common to go at around the 4 to 5 year mark.
