Hi everyone

So its that old problem again pressure dropping ,I would say about a month to drop from 2bar to 1 or just above ,I have check inside and cant see any evidence of leak (no water any where) and the over flow is bone dry will this be a leak ,I am just double checking before i rip the flows up all over the house

thanks

hard to say from info given. could well be a leak under floor or a leak in the boiler that evaporates before i drips down

I have a sealed system that i have to top up every 2 months(mind you not by 1 bar),,,but i'm not worried..no damp, no visible leaks.

System when cold should be about about 1-1.5 bar...2bar is a bit too high (for cold)

so if i set the pressure at 1.5 bar when cold and then monitor again ? forgot to mention i did check all valves and they were all fine
thanks

Pressurise to 1.5Bar. Turn off f&R isolating valves, turn off boiler and leave as long as possible.

If pressure doesn't drop then you have a leak on the rad circuit.

sorry to be a pain can one tell exactly how to set the pressure for normal running of combi eg: what pressure and whether system should be runing or off ?

thanks
