Baxi 105he hot water issue

Hi,

I've searched the forum but can't find anyone else having the same issue as mine so I'm here to ask for help. I've got a strange problem with my baxi 105he hot water.

When I run the hot taps a little or even half open the boiler does nothing so runs only cold water. If I open the hot taps more to almost full then the boiler will kick in and hot water will start to come through. If I then turn the taps down a bit the boiler will continue to work.

Once I stop the hot water and start it again I have the exact same issue. It's as if it needs a large flow of water to the hot taps for it to recognise that hot water is required.

Anyone any ideas?

Do you have any pointers where to go to find out how to do it or is goolge my friend for this one?

Ordered a repair kit and I've just changed it worked a treat.

Not bad for £5 and 20 min work

Followed the 4th post on this thread in case anyone else has the same issue
