baxi 130he combi - flow overheat thermostat - boiler off?

hi,
have searched internet, looked in user guide and turned boiler on and off.

the screen flashes Ld which says means flow overheat thermostat.

what are the causes/likley remedies? I'm going to turn it off for an hour, at mains, see what happens.

any advice or experience?
