Hi,
basically the heating works more often than the hot water, however the hot water is only tepid.

The diverter valve - sometimes the pins make contact and make the 'click' sound but other times you will have to manually override it to get the boiler to fire up.

what would make the hot water not very warm even though the boiler fires up and heating is off? i mean if i let the water drible out it would go red hot until i increased the flow.

would this be a new diverter valve?

many thanks

The diverter diaphragm is failing.

If the rads warm up on DHW then the manifold is sticking.

There can also be gas and other causes!

basically there is no hot watr coming out of hot tap, even when the boiler fires up!

would you suggest changing the whole 3 way diverter valve? pain in arse to swap?

many thanks
