Hi I have a baxi 80e combi and I'm getting intermittent hot water.
Is it a new diverter valve
Thanks

More than likely a new diaphragm is required, definitely worth checking before spending £100 on new diverter.

It could be caused by any of several faults which would be diagnosed by a boiler engineer.

Hi I am a plumber working with my father who is a registered gas safe engineer, I am currently learning about gas and eventually would like to do boiler breakdowns. I know there is alot to learn but we all have to start somewhere. Any advice to gaining the knowledge about boiler fault finding would be grateful

Hi
Maybe I didn't give enough info, sometimes the waters hot and sometimes Luke warm but when's it's luke warm the heating flow pipe gets hot

Then the diverter valve requires overhaul. There are kits available. Many will say, replace the whole valve, but I always refurbish and they perform and are as reliable as a new unit.

Do you know where I can buy a kit to overhaul I can only find diaphragm replacement kits.
