I have a baxi 80e with honeywell programmable stat
Intermittently, after my room stat reaches temp, the boiler pump fault led comes on. Without the heating on and just using hot water, the same thing happens but only now and again.
to get it to work again i need to turn the hot water tap on, turn the boiler on and off at the mains, (a boiler reset doesn't do it)
like i said it's not every time, but when ch is in use all day it happens daily, usually after the heating's been on a couple of hours
Has anyone else come across this problem. I've had my boiler serviced(hoovered out) recently but its made no difference
The plumber who looked at it has suggested new boiler(no chance), erm, new pump, heating thermostat and maybe PCB
I can't afford to waste money on parts that don't need replacing. Anyone got any suggestions on what the fault is and where to buy the relevant part from? thanks in advance!
