Baxi back boiler & fire

Hi,

I have a Baxi bermuda back boiler & fire (about 4 years old) and have a problem lighting the fire. The boiler/heating works fine but when the button is pressed to light the fire I just get the normal audible buzz, but don't hear the clicking of the ignition. Any ideas, thanks in advance.

Check for soot build up on the ignition.

Easy to check... look out you instructions first for the coalbed positions
before you start and get a big sheet to cover floor with.

remove loose coals and front long bed.... hoover out soot at burner and test.

Replace coals in correct order.

If its not this then it will be the ignition unit or a loose connetion?
