Baxi Bahama 100, a few issues

the flow switches on these things are ****.. Ive had to replace loads even though potterton say you only need to clean..

another thing to apparently watch out for is the CH flow switches is somehow tied into the DHW flow also .. according to the helpline the DHW tells the boiler to fire and runs pump BUT if the CH flow breaks then it shuts down so not always replacing the DHW flow for hot water works... twice ive had to replace both this month for this reason..

They are fine switches and work equally on air or water.

Only problem is they incorporate a magnet. If there is the slightest amount of magnetic debris in the system it will be attracted to the flow switches and eventually they will jam. What a sales opportunity for Magnaclean.

There is not any CH flow switch in this boiler! There is a system flow switch which is required for CH and DHW to prove the pump is providing a flow through the primary heat exchanger and thus enable the gas supply.
