I've got a Baxi Inset back boiler, fitted about 5 to 6 years ago. When you initially switch it on, the ignitor clicks around 15 times before the burners ignite. My neighbour had exactly the same model fitted at the same time & his only clicks 3 or 4 times before it ignites.
When mine was last serviced I was told that there could be a bit of muck in the burner, but that part is sealed & you can't get at it.
Is that right? My boiler knowledge is limited, but I would have thought that could be done?
