Hello,
Our thermocoupler in the Baxi Bermuda back boiler has died. If I try to light the pilot light it goes out as soon as I let go of the grey button even after holding it in from anywhere between 30 seconds and a couple of minutes. Occasionally I think I'll have success but within about 30 seconds of celebrating the pilot goes out again :(
This to me points to the thermocoupler so I've switched the boiler off on the controller and on the timer. However, the earliest I can get a plumber is after Easter (not a surprise) - is it a problem to leave the boiler off in this state for so long?

Thanks
Phillip
