Baxi Boiler help

Hi

I hae a bermuda baxi boiler, it has a nasty brown front fire. Now I dont have the money to replace in any way. The fire was capped off by british gas a couple years ago so it in no way works. Now I know that u cant remove the fire as it works with the boiler. But, I want to place a well vented rad cover over the front to cover the fire. The one i have in mind has a full latace front and holes round the bottom and loads of room all around and in no way a close fit. As I say I know the fire cant be taken off.

Don't see a problem with that since the cover is well ventilated.

This question has been asked before and there is no definitive answer.
I personally would never give opinion without seeing the cover and subjecting the boiler to exhaustive tests before and after fitting the cover.
I would seek the advice and guidance from a pro, and get a CO detector while you're at it.
