Hi i have a problem with my boiler a baxi solo wm30/4pf when i switch it on the pilot flame lights and the main burner keeps going on and off on and off and i can hear the vacum switch clicking , i have fitted a new gas valve and a new P C B ,So because of this problem it takes ages for the heating to warm up and if i use the hot water the heating goes cooler.
Please help !!

Does the fan seem to be running normally? If it is not, this can prevent the pressure switch operating correctly. Also check that the pipes connecting the pressure switch are not perished at the ends, again preventing the switch operating correctly. I have had both problems with my Baxi Solo.

You need to employ a boiler specialist and not a "plumber". This fault is to do indirectly with the air pressure switch. A good RGI should be able to repair quite quickly. Unfortunately, forum rules restrict further advice on diy gas repairs.
I don't know why I bothered after reading the above post.

My apologies, I should not have phrased the response as I did. These are problems that I have had on a similar boiler and which were fixed by a heating engineer. I am not advocating that the OP should undertake any work on the boiler himself.

OP your 2 seperate plumbers have miss diagnosed a straight forward boiler the board one is not as bad as the gas valve one which it would not have been i would be asking for money back from both of them .
You must be into several hundreds by now.
