when I have this boiler on central heating, the pressure gauge goes up to over 3 bar,the pressure relief valve kicks in and discharges water through the pipe, can anyone tell me what the problem is? what is causing the pressure to rise?

thanks for that reply namsag, checked pressure in expansion vessel, seems to have the correct pressure 0.5 bar,any other idea's,thanks

Filling loop letting may be letting by.

Holed plate to plate a possibility.

Communication tube could be blocked.

The pressure you stated does sound low though.
