Another Baxi problem.
The boiler has power and when on the winter setting will attempt to fire up the heating side, but without success. It will continue to do this without the fault light showing and the green power light not flashing. It seems to get to the point of firing but then shuts down and begins the cycle again.
If however a hot tap is turned on, not only does the boiler light up and heat the tap water, but the heating side kicks in and will remain on after the tap has been turned off.
So, we can get the system to work, but only by turning a hot tap on first.
The first choice was the valve actuator but this is working, so any suggestions as to the possible cause of the problem would be appreciated.
Thanks
