HI There,
I've got a Baxi eco 80 bolier and it continually ignites despite the timer switch (no thermostat) being switched off. It will light up for about 15 seconds, then switch off, then light up and so on.
I have hot water, and hot rads, even though I think the the rads are far too hot. Neither the water or heater controllers have any effect on the temperature. I'm concerned as I don't want my daughter to burn herself on the rads and it does get too hot to touch.
I have had British Gas round several times and they keep flobbing me off saying its working properly. They suggested fitting a thermostat, but that does no eradicate the problem in my view - If the timer is not switching the heater off how will a thermostat do any better!!
All help and advice greatly appreciated.
