Suggest a proper service as described in the manual be carried out
A service carried out without access to boiler chamber is not a service

And how would that help with a leak? It could be on the system (and usually is). Flat expansion of course a possibility but he didn't say how old the boiler is or if that's been done.

I'd imagine after losing pressure 15 times you'd imagine a leak would have been spotted in the house. Reasonable then to presume prv as a first look. 32 weeks puts us slap in winter so heating on, flat expansion and drip ever since. Service seems reasonable to get a simple repair done at the same time.

Hows about the OP having a gander at the copper pipe that goes outside to see if its dripping ?

A proper service means expansion vessel gets pressurised, boiler connections get checked, diverter cartridge gets checked (have changed a few ) may well find the defect..

Above items are often overlooked when 'service' is carried out without taking boiler cover off
While not suggesting proper boiler service will fix OP's boiler issue, there is a GOOD chance it will if vessel is flat, cartridge spindle is passing or primary water connection is leaking

There of course could be leak/s elsewhere no denying. Have been to three boilers in 7 weeks, of this design that had issues listed aboveo_O

Hi - Many thanx to all and thanx especially for the prompt response
