Hello

After an E119 code this morning, I re-pressurised the system after fiddling about with the taps below.

When I then turned on the hot water, the pressure went up to 3 and it is not moving!

How can I bring this down again?

Thank you

Babs

Bleed some water out from a convenient radiator valve, using a square key...it takes a while but its the simplest way!
John :)

I think the question you should be asking is: why did it suddenly shoot up to 3?

Thank you, John - that did the trick.

@bengasman - I think I overdid the re-pressurising - user error :oops:

All settled down now and found the leaky radiator that is causing the E119 too.

think the op may have left the loop open. new ones are a bit fiddly to operate. as ben says though. watch the pressure to see that it doesn't rise unduly once the heating goes back on again.
