Hi
I have had a Baxi Duo Tec HE combi boiler for seven years. Great for Central Heating, lowsy for obtaining hot water, wasting so much water waiting for it to get to the bath and sinks. the boiler is serviced every year but still the problem remains. Is this a common problem? I am ripping my hair out is there anybody out there that can help or give sound advice.

Thanks

Why are you apparently blaming your boiler for problems with your plumbing system?

If you feel the hot water outlet pipe from your boiler then you will feel it gets hot quite soon after a demand for DHW.

What Tony said...sounds like a plumbing issue rather than a boiler issue

Any decent combi should easily provide 20L/min+ with in 0.5secs of opening any tap with in 100m of the boiler. If not its broken and require fixin ASAP.

A power flush should cure this issue, if not try another power flush

If you feel its costing money by wasting water then only open the tap half way the water will heat up quicker
