If ambient is below 4 degrees C the boiler pressure drops and will not fire up- usually on the morning start up, at 6.30am.
Opening up water inlet and re-pressurising gets it going again and then a drain down of a pint or so at the rad and its fine.
There is a leak on the HW outlet at the boiler compression fitting,of 20ml overnight which may be the cause?
Believe the system pipework is not leaking- but why does system work when ambient is above 4 .
Nightmare over this winter and boiler engineer has "disappeared" hence my question.
