hI, IV'E GOT A Baxi 105e instant and ever since it was put in the psv overflow pipe outside has water sitting in it, the pressure drops .1 bar every 3 days or so,i put a bowl under it and it did build up a small amount of water, should this drip at all? I only pressure the loop to 1 bar so i'm not overpressurising it.I have'nt looked for any leaks yet but i'm pretty sure there aren't any but the p.s.v still leaks whatever,,, any suggestions?

I s it neccessary to drain the system to change the p.s.v????

Ta Very Much. :( :( :(

It shouldn't leak at all. You may not have to drain the system to fix it if you have service valves on the flow and return pipes on the boiler. You might be able to fix it by twisting the valve open so it pushes some water out to clean the seat, then letting it snap shut.
