Hi, hoping someone can help me diagnose this fault. It developed last winter.
Only in the morning, when the system is cold, I have solid red ignition light, no flame light and solid Green power light, suggesting ignition fault.
press the reset button and after 3-4 cycles it eventually fires up. Never once has it had a problem all day, just that initial morning fire up.
never had a problem all summer when it was only water, only in the winter.
Heating engineer thought it was over heating as the valves in the airing cupboard may not have fully opened causing restricted flow but that’s not worked.
It happens 1-2 times per week but only in the morning.
I got up early to watch it come on yesterday and the red ignition light was on before the time clock had even turned on.
Any ideas?
