Switched on heating but nothing warming up. On display lights the only light which is displayed is the boiler on light.

The other light diodes on the panel are as follows:

Overheat NOT on
Boiler On on
Fan Not on
Piolot Not On
Burner Not On

Am I correct in saying that the fault will be either the piolot light or fan. What sequence do they work? Is it that the fan is faulty and therefore the piolot light doesn't ignite or vice versa

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Your boiler does not have a pilot light ( or a piolet light either ).

It lights the gas when its needed.

You have not said if the boiler is starting the pump!

Its difficult to make any guesses but the PCB is not very reliable on your model.

It goes pump, fan, gas, spark.
If no power on pump check pcb fuse. If OK suspect pcb.

Can u here the fan running? If not sure can u put your hand up to the flue terminal outside & feel a draft. If not ,then u require an RGI.Next step intails entering combustion chamber.

My stab in the dark is:

Blocked pilot injector. ;)

You'd better stab elsewhere

if the fan's not coming on, the pcb's not even thought about the gas valves
pcb I reckon

Harrogate has a point though (as usual!)

Bleedin obvious question we all missed - does it work for hot water!

If so it's probably a faulty motorised valve.

As the boiler on light is working this shows a "live" is being received from the motorised valve / external controls so the fault will be with the boiler.

Ive got a Solo 3 about 5 years old and it's on its 3rd PCB now, so it would be a good place to start.
