Hi
Is it possible to fit one of these controllers to the Baxi Solo HE boiler. Not goping to do it myself but want to know if possible before I buy one. Thanks.

It's a programmable room stat and can be fitted to control your heating. You don't say what system controls you have at present. Easy to connect to S or Y plan controls.

Thanks, basically boiler is in the kitchen and controller upstairs in airing cupboard with hot water tank and original timer control.

So would the little sender unit be installed by the boiler or in the airing cupboard where the existing controller is located.

Don't understand what you mean by the controller. Can you give more detail, or better still, a pic showing everything (relevant ;) ) in the airing cupboard.

No, boiler is downstairs in the kitchen. Upstairs in the airing cupboard is the HW tank and existing timer controller, just one time controller.

Then it will be easy to install. Your existing timer will control hot water times only; the HW temperatures are controlled by a thermostat on the side of the boiler. The receiver for the CM927 (that's the little box - the controller is the sender) will be wired into the junction box in place of the existing thermostat.

It might be better if the receiver was located outside the airing cupboard, say high up on the wall. There will then be one less wall for the signal to pass though and it will be easier to see the lights on the receiver.

The CH channel of the existing timer will have to be disabled. There are several ways of doing; your installer will discuss this with you.
