Hi
Visited a baxi solo 2pf, the pilot light is on and the fan is running, there is a clicking noise as though the gas valve is trying to open but isnt.
There are no fault or reset lights on and all the other lights are saying all is ok except the burner on light is obviously off.

Would be grateful of any feedback.

Many thanks

Jasper

Gas pressure? Gas valve lever paralel with pipe? heating control up high?

Dirty pilot pulling away from the electrode as main burner tries to come on can cause this , loose wire to main solenoid/faulty main solenoid.
Personally would suspect pilot

Yes , all seems fine. thanks

Pilot seems strong and fine, so shall i suspect the main solenoid?

Most problems on these boilers are dirty pilots.

Tend to find if it runs ok for testing purpose with the front panel off then it is the pilot
