I have to replace the PCB in my Baxi Solo3 boiler, can anyone advise please. I have a new PCB but need advice on wiring. Many thanks.

What kind of advice do you think you need?

Generally you remove existing connections, replace PCB and reconnect.

It may be that you are not sufficiently skilled to replace it safely. A mistake and an expensive PCB can be spoilt !

How can you be sure its the PCB that is faulty?

Thanks for your comments Tony (Agile).
We spoke to Baxi and explained that the overheat light stays on; evrything else works OK. They said that it must be the PCB.
What special handling might the PCB need?
Thanks again

For starters you need to earth yourself before touching the pcb.

What else has been checked and eliminated before jumping to the conclusion it was the pcb?

I tend not to trust tech support, most just read a list of questions and answers off a PC screen.

The few times I have called BAXI tech in the past, I have had 3 different answers from 3 different techicians over the same fault

I would not jump to that conclusion!

I think that there is a klixon type o/h stat but others can confirm that. It needs to be checked for continuity.
