Bay window floor joints - opposite way to cantilever

I have a bay window with upstairs bay above.

Usually I would extend upstairs joists out into the bay to cantilever the floor out. In this case the main house joists run the opposite way (across the bay, not into the bay)

How should the joists/floor be framed into the bay area in this instance.
 
Im still not 100% with you.. was there not floor there previously?
Actually im only about 20% with you.. may need a sketch or photos.
 
This is quite common.

The floor has little load, but the main bay relies on support from the frame below and fixings to the main house walls
