what qualifications do you need to become a electrician. this i a career i am interested in doing so i would be grate full for any help

Seriously, your best option is to contact your local college and find out what courses they run. I presume from your post that you are a teenager in which case also try a local electrical contracting firm and see if they need an apprentice, This way they may pay for your college courses. GOOD LUCK

It's not just qualifications it the hand skills and experiance to do the job!

on a strictly technical note, you don't need any qualifications to be an electrician..
you just need to be competent..
one way to show competency is to have a recognised body say that you are.. which is what the qualifications come down to..
