Had this dishwasher for about a year and a half, and the other day it gave up the ghost. Started it up and it made a sort of crunching noise while the drainage pump started up, let it run though (stupidly) and it started to fill up until it spilled over. Phoned comet, where I got it from, and seeing as it's out of warranty, they only offered to get an engineer, costing more than the dishwasher cost in the first place.
I've pulled the bottom plate off and can't see any way to get a look in to see if there's anything stuck in the pump, but can't see any way to get a proper look at it. Any advice at all would be appreciated. Cheers.
