Beko washer drum not turning

Hi
I have a Beko SDW7020W washer, this has now developed a fault which consists of: the machine will fill with water but will not spin.

I have checked the brushes on the motor and these are fine. The LCD display however is dimmer than it used to be.

Can anybody help?
