Beko wdx8543130b not spinning

Hi all,

I've been informed by she that scowls that the washing machine isn't working.

I put a half load in it and put it on a daily quick cycle which should be about 28 minutes. The door locks, the machine fills with water then it just sits there with 27 minutes on the timer, after another few minutes the machine turns itself off and pumps all the water out the waste.

The machines at least 8 years old so I wouldn't say it owes us anything but I did wonder where you'd start diagnosing the issue?

Not that familiar with Beko products but sounds like possibly the pressure switch is not detecting a change in the water level or the motor brushes are worn out or even both Check any filter that is connected to the pump for obstruction, also there may be a thin tube connected to the pump that runs up to a pressure switch these can get blocked or obstructed in other ways.
Another possibility is the water is not heating so check the element.
Are there any error codes that show in the display or indicators on the panel that light or flash when the machine stops

Just ran it again to make sure but no there's no error codes when it switches itself off.

Unfortunately It won't be brushes as this model has an inverter motor fitted.

Ill have a look inside it later but a quick search shows one of the pcbs or a new motor are about £100 but I can buy a new machine in the black Friday sale for £229 so it probably isn't going to warrant replacing any of the major components.
