I have a Belling BE811 integrated fridge freezer which is 7 years old. Most of the time it is making a very loud chugging noise This can be stopped by either turning the thermostate down towards zero and waiting for a clicking noise . If this doesnt work I either move it down to zero to switch the appliance off totally and then back up again. Sometimes if I push against the freezer door the noise stops as well. I checked that it is level and defrosted the freezer but it still wont stop and its driving me round the bend. I have a temperature guage in both the freezer and fridge which shows that the temperature is okay Any help/advice would be appreciated.
