Hello

I have the above mentioned cooker / range

When i use the oven, it continues to spark - even after the oven has lit. This goes on continously.

I'm worried something will break if i do nothing

Can someone please tell me what this could be and how i can fix it

regards
joe

sorry - i should have said is it something i could do ?

with a bit of guidance from the kind people on here I feel confident enough to attempt a repair

unfortunately I do not have an installation guide though

thanks again

joe

It could also be a cracked electrode ,damaged ignition lead, some cookers have individual microswitches on the taps this could be sticking .
It could even be reversed polarity in house wiring if you have recently had some work done.

thanks guys.

canyou please explain how i can check the ignition lead and microswitch BEFORE opting for a spark ignition.

pretty skint at the moment as work is very slow - thank you all for your kind assistance
