Bending 25mm PVC conduit

Can I bend 25mm conduit with a bending spring? When I've tried it either kinks or tears.

I was trying to make some 90 degree bends and it was a cold day!

Warm it up with a hairdryer before bending, but with a spring properly inserted across the length of the bend, it should not kink or tear.

Is the spring kinked?

You ARE using a 25mm spring?

Put the spring inside where you want the bend (attach a length of conduit single cable to remove it with afterwards!), warm it by rubbing it with a rag, put it over your knee and start to pull the bend, lift it upto chest height and continue pulling the bend a bit past the angle you want and the job should be done

Yes I was using a new 25mm bending spring, I'll try the hairdryer idea...

Warm the spring as well, other wise the inner wall stays cold and may crack

I find my kneck gives a better bend than my knee, you could always buy a few pre-manufactured bends?

I said "could", not "should"!!
I hate pre-manufactured, the couplers on each end look rough!!
