Bending chrome pipe

ON an odd occasion chrome sometimes cracks when its bent to 90 . Will probably be OK though, sometimes cracks on the back of the bend as it doesn't like to be stretched.

Chrome will loss its shine on 90 bend as it is stretched.
the reason that chrome pipe will sometimes crack it that it is effectively a bi-metalic construct. It is very intolerant of temperature i even rub mine to warm it befor e i bend and i bend very very slowly. 90 degree and bends and big offset sets are easily achieved. As the plating is strectched it will cease to internally refract light and will lose its sheen to an extent.
