I have a Beninca BULL8 OM.S and it stopped responding to remote control. LED indicator shows "I". Photocells are not making any "click" sound when waving hand in front of the photocell.

Any directions how to trobleshoot ?

Verified, both fuses (F2 and F1) are OK.

What I did not understand was the sign "I" on LCD. Is it some status code ?

Photocells were producing clicking sound previously, but not any more. Photocell positions have not changed.

Did you remove the fuse when checking ? Have you checked voltage at photcells ?
I did remove fuses for testing with multimeter.

Checked voltages on TX and RX, attached files with readings.

Looking at manual they are 24vAC your multimeter is on the wrong setting you need to put it on the 60v Ac setting
Check at the controller first

Looks like voltage is OK ? Faulty photocell(s) ?

When I opened the TX photocell cover then I did notice some water damage. I even used the F-02 flux remover to clean the PCB.

Is there a way to "disconnect" the photocells and use the gate controller without photocells, does controller need to be reprogrammed ? Want to eliminate the faulty photocells before buying new one...

Definitely damaged ….
Yes you can ….but not advised as you could be putting yourself , other people and vehicles at risk of damage and harm …

Still looking the way to rule out the photocell. What do I need to bypass to be able to run gate controller without photocell ?

So, to disable photocells one needs to bridge terminals COM and PHC. Controller is operating as expected now without photocell safety feature.

Blue wire is the bridge on screenshot.
