If using a bent pan connector to connect to a 4insoil running at 90 degrees to the toilet is it best to not cut the bent pan connector down and cut the soil pipe. Or the other way around. Or does it make no difference?

90° to HO pan outlet is ambiguous: if vertical soil as above if horizontal I'd prefer to shorten pan connector.
Cut pan connector... Use a handsaw (old one is best) rather than a senior hack... Better for a squarer cut
